Docs that follow your code
Connect GitHub and every push can update the docs. Docup rewrites only the pages a change touches, and never overwrites a page you edited.
What happens when you push
You push to your default branch. GitHub tells Docup the code changed. Duplicate and out-of-order notifications are ignored.
Docup finds the affected pages. It compares the files that changed with the source files each page was written from. Pages whose sources did not change are skipped.
It updates only those pages. Each affected page is rewritten from the new code. Everything else stays exactly as it is.
Your edits are respected. If you edited a page by hand, Docup does not touch it. You get a suggestion showing what changed and why, and you accept or dismiss it.
- Every sync is a run
- Each update shows up in Runs with the commit, the pages it touched and the result, so you can always see what changed.
- One failure never blocks the rest
- If a page fails, the run is marked partial, the other pages still update, and you can retry the failed one.
- Publish on your terms
- Pages you never edited are updated and go live on a live site. Pages you edited get a suggestion and wait for your review.
- Read-only access
- Docup reads your repository. It never pushes, opens pull requests or changes your files.
